Job Description: Customer Service Officers/Executives/Sr Executives/Supervisors
Akasa Air is inviting applications from fresher graduates with good communication skills and organizational skills for the positions of Customer Service Officers/Executives/Sr Executives/Supervisors. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various tasks such as check-in, reservations, ticketing, special category passenger handling, and boarding gate functions under the supervision of Duty Officers/Duty Managers.

- Freshers / 0-2 years
Skill Set:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers.
- Demonstrate patience and understanding.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic computer operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accepting reservations and issuing tickets at airport ticketing counters.
- Greeting customers with a smile and assisting with check-in or queries.
- Ensuring prompt action on all communication, operational, or administrative tasks.
- Checking customers’ identity, baggage, and recording all weights and items to be put on the aircraft correctly.
- Profiling customers at check-in, briefing them on DG regulations and security banned articles in checked or hand baggage.
- Accepting registered baggage, checking for visible damage, and getting LRT (Lost and Found) signed. Informing customers about liability and charging excess baggage fees if applicable.
- Making boarding announcements, updating Flight Information Display Systems (FIDs), attending customer queries, and reconciling checked-in passengers at the boarding gates.
- Coordinating for connecting customers, their location, and taking advice/instruction from red cap, duty manager if a flight has to be delayed to accept them.
- Strict adherence to company policies, maintaining proper grooming at all times, and not being under the influence of alcohol or banned substances.
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures as laid down in the GOM (Ground Operations Manual).
- Effectively using ramp equipment, guiding blue-collar teams for quick turnaround of aircraft.
- Carrying out gate boarding functions such as zone-wise boarding, BGR (Boarding Gate Reader) usage, and manual boarding in case of systems downtime.
- Ensuring secure, safe, and punctual handling of customers, baggage, and crew, as applicable, by organizing and controlling terminal operations.
- Responsible for reporting occurrences, events, violations, and acts that may affect safety, security, and company reputation to superiors.
- Following procedures for the carriage of arms and ammunition, HUM (Human Remains), DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations), etc.
