Position: Trainee Software Engineer – Data Scientist

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Freshers / 0-2 years

Skills:

• Proficient in SAS, SQL, Python, R.
• Familiarity with Retail banking products.
• Understanding of statistical and probability concepts.
• Competent in BFSI analytics, model implementation, Big data, and Cloud solution architecture.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to various project-based engagements within banking.
• Team player with high energy levels and a self-starting attitude.
• Motivated, disciplined, and capable of delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Job Description: The role of a data analytics consultant involves specialized tasks such as reviewing data for insights, providing expertise in data management, predicting outcomes, and contributing to strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Equifax India bureau to enhance Analytics capabilities and implement tech-driven solutions.
• Demonstrate autonomy in execution, interpreting results, and producing compelling documentation.
• Knowledge of credit bureau, housing, or demographic data is advantageous.
• Manipulate extensive data sets and integrate diverse sources for innovative solutions.
• Contribute to developing the BFSI Analytics practice by identifying new opportunities.
• Understand key business and risk KPIs in retail banking products using bureau datasets.
• Maintain self-motivation, discipline, and task-oriented focus to consistently deliver high-quality results.
