Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience with automation tools (building, testing, releasing, or monitoring).
• Knowledge of and proficiency in using the Python scripting language.
• Experience with highly concurrent, high-throughput systems and complex distributed systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.

As a System Development Engineer, your primary responsibilities include:

• Automation and tool development.
• Troubleshooting systemic and infrastructure issues.
• Fixing production software issues.
• Developing monitoring solutions.
• Performing software maintenance and configuration.
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, Java).
• Performing SQL queries, updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges.
• Collaborating with development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
• Updating/enhancing current software, automating support processes, and documenting systems.
