Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: Freshers
Skill Set:
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles or IT Service Management concepts.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Good customer support skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Prior internship or coursework experience in application support is advantageous but not required.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Description:
As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to our enterprise applications, ensuring their smooth operation, and resolving any issues that arise. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line support for users of our enterprise applications via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to application software and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborating with senior support analysts and developers to escalate complex issues as needed.
- Assisting in monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and availability of applications.
- Documenting support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Participating in training sessions to enhance your technical skills and understanding of our applications.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and automation opportunities.
