Skill Set:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows system administration fundamentals.
- Understanding of distributed computing environments.
- Exposure to AWS and virtualization technologies like VMware, Xen, and Hypervisor.
- Expertise in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
- Experience setting up monitoring and alarming for production database environments.
- Knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Riak.
- Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP protocols.
- Exposure to security concepts and best practices.
- Understanding of IPsec, VPN, load balancing, Iperf, MTR, routing protocols, SSH, and network monitoring/troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong customer focus.
- Self-starter who is excited about learning new technologies regularly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
