Required Skill Set:

  • Core Java (V8+): Strong foundational knowledge with experience in the Spring framework, databases, and Unix.
  • OOP & Data Structures: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and data structure concepts.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java and Python.
  • J2EE Frameworks and Tools: Excellent knowledge and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • QA Processes: Awareness of QA processes and related tools.
  • Clean Code: Ability to write clean, well-structured code using a test-first development approach.
  • Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn new platforms and solutions based on Java.
  • Relational Databases: Familiarity with working with complex database schemas.
  • Agile Methodologies: Good understanding of Agile development principles and best engineering practices.

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer – Java Developer at Genpact, you will be responsible for:

  • Writing clean, structured code in Java using a test-first development approach.
  • Understanding core business problems and delivering efficient IT solutions.
  • Continuously learning and staying curious about new technologies.
  • Working with legacy code and implementing new architectural structures while maintaining existing systems.
  • Collaborating with the QA team to ensure high product quality.
