Job Description:
In this role, you will work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), providing deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients globally. Our delivery centers offer clients locally-based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adopt new technology.
As an Application Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting solutions using multiple technologies to meet functional needs and converting designs into functional and technical specifications.
- Providing or overseeing business application functional support services to meet performance, availability, service level agreements, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Ensuring adherence to project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA, and other relevant processes, standards, governance, and controls.
- Planning and managing medium to large-scale, complex, integrated application or platform projects to ensure effective and efficient execution within scope, timeline, budget, and quality parameters.
- Defining coding best practices within the team.
- Conducting design reviews.
