KPMG is Hiring: Associate Consultant Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Roadmap Development: Define and implement a strategic action plan to reduce compliance burdens related to various Acts, Regulations, and Rules in Meghalaya.
- Compliance Analysis: Compile and review information from DPIIT/NITI Aayog to assess and streamline regulatory compliance in the state.
- Regulatory Identification: Identify which compliances should be repealed, merged, or maintained, and map these with the relevant state departments in Meghalaya.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Organize and lead meetings with concerned departments to assess the applicability of compliances and align them with state needs.
- Task Force Support: Assist in forming a State-Level Task Force to monitor and manage the process of reducing compliance burdens.
- Strategic Planning: Help devise strategies for eliminating unnecessary license renewals, streamlining inspections, simplifying returns/filings, and reducing administrative record-keeping burdens.
- Technology Assessment: Identify opportunities for digital transformation within state departments to enhance service delivery and government efficiency.
- Government Process Optimization: Provide recommendations for re-engineering government processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and presentations for various government bodies, including the Cabinet Secretary, NITI Aayog, PMO, NEC, and DPIIT.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s in Business Management/MBA or Bachelor of Technology (or equivalent).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience working on multi-sector projects.
