- Strategic HR Planning
Partner with business leaders to design and implement HR strategies that are in line with the company’s objectives. Your insights will shape the company’s talent management processes to ensure we meet long-term business goals. - Guidance on HR Matters
Provide expert advice and support on critical HR issues such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management. You’ll ensure that these areas function smoothly and align with legal and company requirements. - Policy Development and Implementation
Draft, develop, and enforce HR policies and procedures. These must comply with labor laws and ensure a fair, safe, and ethical workplace. - Recruitment and Selection Process
Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Your role is vital in selecting the best talent that fits both the culture and the requirements of the organization. - Training Programs
Design and deliver HR-related training programs to employees. This may include training on workplace ethics, employee relations, and company policies. - Employee Benefits Administration
Administer and oversee the company’s benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws. You will also play a role in ensuring these benefits are competitive to attract and retain talent. - Investigations and Grievances
Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fairness and legal compliance in all actions. You’ll act as a neutral mediator in employee disputes and recommend resolutions. - HR Trends and Compliance
Stay current on HR trends and best practices in the industry. This is essential for continuous improvement and to maintain the company’s competitive edge in terms of HR policies and employee engagement strategies. - Collaboration
Work closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and IT to ensure HR policies and processes align with overall company operations. Your role will involve cross-functional teamwork to optimize workflows and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
Jarvis is seeking a qualified HR Consultant with the following background:
- Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in HR will be considered a plus. - Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an HR role. The maximum experience accepted is 7 years, ensuring that candidates have a good mix of industry knowledge and hands-on experience. - Core HR Knowledge:
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in core HR principles such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management. - Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You’ll need to explain complex HR issues in a way that is understandable to employees at all levels. - Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial. You’ll face various employee issues and must find fair, efficient solutions to ensure a harmonious workplace. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, as is experience with HRIS systems. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, and HR software will also be advantageous. - Certifications:
Having SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus. This will demonstrate your commitment to continued learning in the HR field.
