As an Application Engineer I, you’ll be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates complex systems within Honeywell’s Building Technologies (HBT) division. Your role will be crucial to delivering system solutions that cater to the changing demands of our clients. You’ll be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from business development to product end-of-life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute projects to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks within budget, while maintaining high quality standards.
- Handle server/client installation and commissioning.
- Provide remote support for project deployment.
- Set up virtual machines (VM) and demonstrate networking knowledge.
- Conduct quality reviews of deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently, whether technical or otherwise.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers and team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), or a related field.
- Domain expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), FAS (Fire Alarm Systems), and Security Systems.
- Experience and hands-on knowledge of SCADA systems.
- Experience with Honeywell’s Experion system is an added advantage.
