Job Designation: Software Engineer
Salary: 25 LPA – 38 LPA
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Freshers / 0 – 3 years
Skill Set:
- Proficient in Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows system administration fundamentals.
- Understanding of distributed computing environments.
- Exposure to AWS, Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor).
- Expertise in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
- Experienced in setting up monitoring/alarming for production DB environments.
- Some experience with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Riak.
- Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP protocols.
- Exposure to security concepts/best practices.
- Understanding of IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring/Troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with customer service experience/strong customer focus.
- Self-starter who is excited about learning new technologies regularly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Description:
Support Engineers will primarily solve customer cases through various contact channels such as telephone, email, and web/live chat. They will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for customers and drive customer interactions by working thoughtfully to determine the root cause of an issue.
Apart from handling technical issues, AWS Support Engineers may also mentor new hires, develop and present training, partner with development teams on complex issues, participate in hiring, write tools/scripts, or work on process improvement initiatives to ensure better CX and compliance with global AWS standards, practices, and policies.
