Job Designation: Software Development Engineer
Salary: 27 LPA – 40 LPA
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Freshers / Experienced
Skill Set:
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language
- Strong knowledge of Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows system administration fundamentals
- Good understanding of distributed computing environments
- Exposure to AWS and virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor)
- Expertise in managing full application stacks, from the OS to custom applications
- Experience setting up monitoring/alarming for production DB environments
- Some experience with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Riak
- Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP protocols
- Exposure to security concepts and best practices
- Understanding of IPsec, VPN, load balancing, Iperf, MTR, routing protocols, SSH, network monitoring/troubleshooting tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service experience
- Self-starter eager to learn new technologies regularly
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Job Description:
As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving customer cases through various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions, work closely with customers to identify the root cause of issues, and manage a broad spectrum of technical problems.
In addition to resolving customer issues, you may also coach and mentor new hires, develop and present training, partner with development teams on complex issues, participate in new hiring, write tools/scripts to help the team, and work with leadership on process improvements and strategic initiatives to ensure excellent customer experience and compliance with global AWS standards.
