Amazon is seeking to recruit recent graduates possessing exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of QA methodology and testing tools for the position of Device Associate. The role involves manual testing of cutting-edge applications and products at the user level, requiring a comprehensive grasp of functional intricacies and the ability to execute test cases accurately within designated deadlines. The successful candidate should exhibit proficiency in the Windows desktop environment, along with experience in testing consumer devices, and possess excellent customer service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Role: Device Associate – QA Testing

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree

Experience: Freshers

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in QA methodology and tools.
  • Experience in testing consumer devices.
  • Ability to comprehend technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and proficiency in using Word, Excel, IE, Firefox, etc.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Description:

  • Execute test cases for software builds on Desktop and Mobile platforms for Amazon Assistant Products.
  • Accurately perform test case execution and report bugs.
  • Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
  • Conduct regression and repetitive testing exercises to ensure high-quality builds.
  • Utilize software tools for daily data capture such as adb command.
  • Competently document results, communicate and escalate failures, and provide individual status reports.
  • Raise all test case execution-related concerns on the clarification portal and ensure timely closure according to SLA’s.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
