Amazon is currently seeking enthusiastic fresher/experienced graduates with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or C# (or) a scripting language like SQL, Perl, Python, XML, or Ruby, along with a strong understanding of AWS Technologies. The role available is that of a Program Manager Associate, requiring a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and catering to individuals with 0-2 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Problem Solving, and Coding.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java (preferred), C++, or C# (or) scripting language such as SQL, Perl, Python, XML, or Ruby.
• Exposure to AWS Technologies like AWS S3, Dynamo DB, etc.
• Ability to comprehend business objectives and understand how applications or tools contribute to those objectives.
• Capacity to write clean code for basic data structures problems and algorithms in any programming or scripting language.
• Recognition and adoption of best practices in software engineering: design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operations.
• Capability to read and interpret complex code, debug, and troubleshoot application-level issues with minimal guidance.
• Ability to devise simple solutions without over-engineering.
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in the English language.

Job Description:

The Transportation Team is in search of a passionate software programmer analyst to collaborate with business and operations in gathering ship carrier requirements. The candidate will work closely with transportation technology teams to integrate new carriers and ship methods into the network. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining transportation documents such as shipping labels, carrier electronic manifests, and invoices. The role also involves working on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing existing software, automating manual configuration processes, and documenting systems.
