Job Description:

Amazon is seeking fresher graduates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a functional knowledge of Microsoft systems including Word and Excel, for the role of Digital Content Associate. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform analysis and quality checks on digital content of e-books, identifying and validating errors reported by various systems and customers. The associate will need to quickly understand e-book content quality standards, operation workflow tools, and other supporting tools, and continuously adapt to and learn new features of various tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform content quality checks to ensure customer experience for content viewing and Kindle device usage.
• Use software tools for quality audit, content editing, and data capture.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to catch errors in the content.
• Maintain awareness of operational metrics such as productivity, quality, and delivery/latency SLA.
• Collaborate with publishers and vendor managers to report errors identified and provide status updates as required.
• Provide ideas for process improvements to enhance the editing/QA process.
• Review explicit adult content from a clinical perspective, including nudity and strong language, with maturity and professionalism.
• Be a team player and actively contribute to improvement ideas for the process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft systems including Word and Excel
• Good problem-solving, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills related to content quality
• Good interpersonal skills to manage relationships with software team and inter-operations teams
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment driven by complex software systems and processes
• Self-motivated and a good team player
• Knowledge about various aspects of written English
• Proofreading skills will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of or experience in the publishing industry is a plus
• Ability to drive new mechanisms within internal teams
