Key Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Engineer, your primary focus will be on leveraging technical expertise to ensure robust, scalable, and secure systems. Core responsibilities include:

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling Connect Direct, including configuration on Unix, Windows, SSL Encryption, and IBM Sterling Integrator/File Gateway. Knowledge of clustering, perimeter servers, and adapters like SFTP, HTTPS, and CD is critical.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficient in Unix Shell scripting and batch scripting, with the ability to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.), DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift, API development, and coding languages like Python and JSON.
  • System Optimization: Ensure systems are configured, monitored, and optimized for performance, security, and reliability in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaboration and Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless integration with evolving technologies.
