Job Description: Associate Software Engineer – DevOps
Cognizant is seeking fresh graduates with exceptional written and oral communication skills, who are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, Python, etc. We are looking for individuals with knowledge of Cloud technologies and Testing skills to join us in the role of Associate Software Engineer – DevOps.
Job Designation: Associate Software Engineer Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Freshers
Responsibilities:
- Build & Release Automation:
- Implement continuous integration solutions for small or medium-sized projects based on the defined target architecture or operating model.
- Deploy continuous deployment solutions for small or medium-sized projects in accordance with the defined target architecture or operating model.
- Develop packaging deployment documentation and scripts for final builds to be used in production deployments.
- Implement release automation solutions as per the defined target architecture or operating model.
- Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to develop high-level design.
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Develop playbooks/cookbooks for configuration management.
- Install tools on cloud infrastructure.
- Resolve complex hypervisor issues or problems.
- Configure complex networking configurations and resolve any networking issues encountered during infrastructure automation.
- Configure complex storage setups.
- Log Management Solutions:
- Configure listeners.
- Develop complex search queries.
- Install log management tools.
- Perform administrative activities on the log management tool.
- Develop custom scripts to enable log management.
Skills Required:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in any of the programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies and Testing skills.
- Sound understanding of Azure Pipelines, Azure CI, Jenkins, and Player Products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
A Certified Azure Cloud Engineer with around three years of experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) with strong Creative and Analytical skills and having knowledge and skills of Azure Compute Resources, Azure Networking Services and Cloud-based Monitoring Services etc. which can be utilized for mutual growth and development of the organization and myself.
