Job Description: Associate Software Engineer – DevOps

Cognizant is seeking fresh graduates with exceptional written and oral communication skills, who are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, Python, etc. We are looking for individuals with knowledge of Cloud technologies and Testing skills to join us in the role of Associate Software Engineer – DevOps.

Job Designation: Associate Software Engineer Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Freshers

Responsibilities:

1. Build & Release Automation:

• Implement continuous integration solutions for small or medium-sized projects based on the defined target architecture or operating model.
• Deploy continuous deployment solutions for small or medium-sized projects in accordance with the defined target architecture or operating model.
• Develop packaging deployment documentation and scripts for final builds to be used in production deployments.
• Implement release automation solutions as per the defined target architecture or operating model.
• Participate in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to develop high-level design.

2. Infrastructure Automation:

• Develop playbooks/cookbooks for configuration management.
• Install tools on cloud infrastructure.
• Resolve complex hypervisor issues or problems.
• Configure complex networking configurations and resolve any networking issues encountered during infrastructure automation.
• Configure complex storage setups.

3. Log Management Solutions:

• Configure listeners.
• Develop complex search queries.
• Install log management tools.
• Perform administrative activities on the log management tool.
• Develop custom scripts to enable log management.

Skills Required:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in any of the programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and Testing skills.
• Sound understanding of Azure Pipelines, Azure CI, Jenkins, and Player Products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
