About the Role:
As part of the Enterprise Integration team, you’ll work on building custom applications that connect systems, automate business processes, and integrate data flows across the organization. You’ll be developing APIs and creating systems that help streamline the development process, allowing other teams to integrate complex systems easily.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer excited about building technology solutions that meet business needs. Your work will involve collaborating with engineering teams and business units to ensure seamless integration of applications. You’ll also contribute to system enhancements, troubleshoot bugs, and be involved in the integration development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrations Development: Design, build, and support integrations between enterprise applications, platforms, and tools.
- Problem Solving: Address complex integration challenges using best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business units and engineering teams to gather and analyze technical requirements.
- ETL Processes: Build and support Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes that drive business analytics.
- Improvement: Identify architectural gaps or technical debt and work on building solutions to address them.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and collaborate with the team to share knowledge.
- Deployment: Manage code check-ins and deployment configurations, and participate in release management.
- Meetings and Standups: Join regular team meetings, including story planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for the integrations team and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in the integration processes.
- Team Contribution: Participate in product support rotations and contribute ideas to improve integration strategies and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in software development with proficiency in languages like Core Java, Python, or Go.
- Integration Platforms: 1 year of experience with platforms like Workato, developing recipes and APIs.
- ETL Knowledge: Basic understanding of any ETL tool and familiarity with ETL processes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- AWS & Airflow: Experience with AWS and tools like Apache Airflow for handling large data volumes.
- Salesforce Events: Familiarity with Salesforce streaming events and similar technologies.
