The successful candidate will be responsible for developing embedded software based on defined software requirements, ensuring adherence to the software development life cycle (SDLC) and other relevant quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing software requirement specifications • Creating designs for assigned modules • Implementing the code for assigned requirements • Performing unit testing • Conducting peer reviews or inspections of software work products • Supporting the testing team on defect analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related field • 0-4 years of experience in embedded system software design, development, and testing • Knowledge of Microcontrollers (RISC, CISC) • Good understanding of communication protocols such as UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, and J1939 • Experience with MISRA standard – 2000/MISRA 2012 • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies • Experience with static analysis and tools like LDRA or QAC or Vector cast • Knowledge of change management tools like JIRA/VSTS • Experience with version control tools like SVN/GIT/Clearcase • Knowledge of traceability management tools like Reqtify or equivalent • Familiarity with design methodologies like UML • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
