Job Description: Working in the Data Maintenance team in Payroll, responsible for onboarding new hires in HR Online, making employee life cycle changes to an employee record, and supporting MIS for headcount reconciliations, payroll processing, and the annual compensation load activity. Responsibilities also include coordinating and processing onboarding components for new employees, managing separations, salary continuations, transfers, processing payroll/personnel data changes, ensuring withholding tax compliance, managing social security direct deposits, handling salary changes, sign-on bonuses, employee loans, and reimbursements. The role involves fielding various payroll inquiries from employees or HR, understanding basic payroll transactions and terminology for the organization, and handling the basics of the position following specific instructions, guidelines, and set procedures. Additionally, the position requires computing Full and Final Settlements of separated employees with stringent deadlines, liaising and coordinating with the HR operations team, other colleagues in general ledger accounting, and FTP/Payroll Team on scheduled activities. The role includes flagging off exceptions observed in the data submission by HR colleagues and ensuring arithmetical accuracy. Strict compliance with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) guidelines is essential.
