Role Overview:
The DevOps ESG Core Engine team is part of the Infra & DevOps unit within DWS India, providing shared services across build, release, and QA automation. This role focuses on delivering high-quality digital banking solutions by collaborating with key stakeholders, including product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams. Responsibilities include maintaining non-prod and production environments, setting up end-to-end monitoring, and overseeing the transition of projects to support teams during Go Live.

Key Responsibilities:
- Automation: Drive automation, including automated build, test, and deployment processes to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
- System Integration: Support and manage digital systems architecture, ensuring the integration of service layers with core technology stacks.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor digital architecture health and take corrective actions when necessary to maintain performance and security.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical authority, guiding developers to uphold architectural standards.
- Security Compliance: Incorporate security best practices and adhere to industry standards within the architecture.
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external teams, including IaaS and PaaS providers, to enhance service offerings and optimize infrastructure.
- Continuous Testing: Work with QA teams to drive continuous testing by integrating QA automation suites with available toolsets.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Linux/Unix systems, DevOps tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory), and configuration management (Ansible, UCD).
- Containerization: In-depth knowledge of Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Data Management: Familiarity with Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Pentaho, and Spark for data-related tasks.
- Infrastructure Architecture: Experience in high-availability, clustering, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Monitoring Tools: Basic knowledge of monitoring tools like Geneos, Nagios, and Splunk/ELK stack.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Agile Environment: Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in agile settings, with a focus on automation and tooling.
- Networking: Understanding of basic networking concepts, including firewalls.
- Security and Compliance: Strong grasp of security requirements and the ability to ensure compliance independently.
Education and Certifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or an IT-related field.
- Relevant DevOps certifications are a plus.
