Skill Set:
- Proficiency in automating front-end client applications for various devices such as Mobile, TVs, Set Top Boxes, or Living Room devices
- Understanding of REST APIs, including request-response structures, error handling, and status codes
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database scripting
- Experience in developing backend tools or frameworks for testing REST APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, and deployment procedures
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and Shift Left methodologies
- Ability to build distributed systems for performance and scale testing
- Experience with testing in a distributed heterogeneous microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with caching technologies like Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Cassandra, and Kafka
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS or similar providers
- Adherence to industry best practices in software development processes including unit testing, object-oriented programming, design principles, and code reviews
- Proficiency in Linux commands and shell scripting
- Ability to develop and publish Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a strong desire to work in a dynamic team environment

Job Description:
In this role, you will collaborate with teams responsible for the Discovery experience, encompassing the Home page, Details page, and Search functionalities. You will work within the Customer Experience (CEX) domain, where every aspect of the customer journey, from signup to personalized content delivery, is meticulously managed. Our goal is to create fast and intuitive experiences catering to a diverse user base, from individual mobile viewers to families enjoying content on living room devices.
As part of the CEX Org QE team, you will:
- Develop highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure capable of handling thousands of tests per day
- Ensure the reliability and trustworthiness of test automation results, facilitating seamless and hands-free releases
- Contribute innovative solutions to complex test automation challenges, collaborating closely with Product, UX, and Development teams
- Work towards delivering high-quality discovery experiences across Mobile, Web, and Living Room devices, serving potentially millions of users
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to align Quality Engineering initiatives with overall business objectives
- Guide peers in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems to elevate product quality standards
- Be an integral part of the CEX Discovery team, consisting of over 50 engineers dedicated to enhancing content discovery experiences for users across multiple countries and languages
