Position: Principal Consultant- DevOps Engineer Operations
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: Freshers/Experienced
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, etc.
- Knowledgeable in AWS DevOps, Azure DevOps, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible.
- Expertise in DevOps, Public Clouds, and Automation.
- Sound understanding of Linux and Windows OS Administration.
- Excellent logical/analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in shifts when required.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Capable of performing under pressure and within set timelines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Description: As a DevOps Engineer in the Digital Engineering unit, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting innovative solutions for Fortune 500 customers. Your role involves leveraging your formal education and professional experience to apply concepts in a fast-paced environment. Working under limited supervision, you’ll follow standard practices and procedures to complete tasks with high quality. Success in this role is defined by your ability to collaborate with the team, enhance your skills, and achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify automation opportunities and draft execution plans.
- Collaborate with project leads to monitor, evaluate, and ensure task/project completion.
- Contribute to strategic plans for technical and business objectives.
- Coordinate activities to enforce development improvements, CI, and CD.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Configure and maintain container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, etc.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable and resilient architectures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Knowledgeable about SDLC and unit testing frameworks.
