Job Title: Business Analyst – Sourcing Analyst

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Genpact is seeking motivated and talented fresh graduates to join our team as Business Analyst – Sourcing Analyst. As a Sourcing Analyst, you will play a key role in managing electrical commodities for the entire value chain related to sourcing and procurement of materials and services. We are looking for individuals with strong technical knowledge of commodities, drawings, and specifications, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand electrical commodities and efficiently work on timely quotes from suppliers.
2. Identify and develop new suppliers, as well as work on supplier development initiatives.
3. Anticipate potential problems and risks, providing insightful solutions and implementing actions to resolve or prevent issues.
4. Design and implement effective supplier strategies to meet business requirements.
5. Conduct crucial and challenging negotiations with suppliers.
6. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
7. Analyze supplier capabilities in alignment with business requirements and provide guidance accordingly.
8. Ensure all necessary information is set up to facilitate a smooth downstream procurement process.
9. Collaborate with European teams and be flexible with working hours to accommodate the need.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong technical knowledge of commodities, drawings, and specifications.
• Good understanding of global suppliers in the region.
• Proficiency in any SAP module, preferably PMX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Postgraduate degree with certifications in Supply Chain & Procurement (e.g., CPM/CPIM) is preferred.
