Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Issue Management: Diagnose, resolve, and implement new investigation tools to enhance productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
- Technical Expertise Development: Troubleshoot, reproduce, and determine root causes for reported issues while building tools to speed up the diagnostic process.
- Consulting & Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert and consultant for internal teams in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to eliminate technical obstacles.
- Product Advocacy: Understand customer pain points, advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, and contribute to product improvements.
- 24/7 Support: Collaborate with a global team of engineers to provide round-the-clock support, occasionally working non-standard hours or shifts.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills:
- 2 years of experience coding in languages like Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, or JavaScript.
- 2 years of experience in system design and troubleshooting.
- Customer Support: Proven experience in triaging and resolving technical issues for enterprise customers.
- Specialized Knowledge:
- Experience with Web Technologies, Big Data, Systems Administration, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, or SAP.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud computing, including certifications, internships, or relevant coursework.
