Job Title: Graduate Trainee Engineer – Operations Performance and Analytics

Job Description:

Hitachi is seeking fresh graduates with strong verbal and written presentation skills to join us as Graduate Trainee Engineers in our Operations Performance and Analytics team. As a Graduate Trainee Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing global Operations Performance and Analytics processes, systems, and reporting activities across all Business Lines.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate business performance and major digital transformation initiatives, providing support to the SQO P&A Specialist.
2. Understand and document SQO function processes and goals.
3. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
4. Support day-to-day activities of the P&A specialist, including developing business reports, analysis, and resolving user stories.
5. Attend council meetings to understand stakeholder expectations and establish working relationships.
6. Ensure accurate and timely monthly SQO reporting activities in collaboration with the specialist.
7. Participate in trainings, workshops, and meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
8. Stay updated with advancements and best practices in analytics.
9. Demonstrate excellent cross/inter-cultural skills and the ability to work with different cultures.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Graduation in a relevant field.
2. Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office.
4. Proficiency in query languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, programming languages like Python, and Power Platform tools like Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
5. Understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, unstructured data analytics, and natural language processing is a plus.
6. Ability to interact effectively with business and technical teams.
7. Quick learner and ability to adapt to fast-changing business environments.
