Skill Set:

Job Description: This role involves designing software systems for multiple platforms, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. The responsibilities include developing, coding, and implementing software components, modules, or applications using appropriate programming languages and technologies, as well as gathering and analyzing user and system requirements to guide the software design and development processes accurately.
- Execute installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Develop and maintain software components, modules, or applications using suitable programming languages and technologies.
- Integrate software systems with existing infrastructure, databases, APIs, and third-party services to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and internet-related tools.
- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identify, log, and debug assigned issues.
- Participate in concept design discussions, gather system-level requirements, clarify interfaces, and provide feedback for future design requirements to help develop robust and high-performance solutions.
- Improve the entire lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Provide support services through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Develop an understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Participate as a member of a project team of other software systems engineers to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
