Purpose of the Role
In this position, you’ll convert raw data into actionable insights to support bank-wide strategic decisions. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering data models, dashboards, and multi-dimensional reports that communicate key KPIs and performance metrics.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence (BI) Delivery: Design BI solutions that include database models, data marts, and data analytics to aid decision-making.
- Data Extraction and Maintenance: Work with data from internal systems, external databases, and market feeds to provide accurate insights.
- Model and Report Development: Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to showcase KPIs, trends, and performance metrics for management.
- Custom Data Solutions: Address business requests by creating tailored queries and reports that solve specific business challenges.
- KPI Monitoring: Analyze KPIs to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions that align with Barclays’ regulatory requirements and governance policies.
- Reporting and Metric Automation: Continually improve the reporting process and automate metric delivery for seamless service.
