As an HR Product Developer, you’ll engage in tasks such as:

  • Data Transformation and Analysis: Extract, clean, and shape data from various HR sources to create insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Process Automation: Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques for efficient, accurate data extraction, transformation, and output.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Quickly grasp problem statements and translate requirements into robust, practical solutions.
  • HR Metrics Knowledge: Maintain a broad understanding of HR functions and their related data and metrics.

Purpose of the Role

In this position, you’ll convert raw data into actionable insights to support bank-wide strategic decisions. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering data models, dashboards, and multi-dimensional reports that communicate key KPIs and performance metrics.

Detailed Responsibilities

  1. Business Intelligence (BI) Delivery: Design BI solutions that include database models, data marts, and data analytics to aid decision-making.
  2. Data Extraction and Maintenance: Work with data from internal systems, external databases, and market feeds to provide accurate insights.
  3. Model and Report Development: Develop data models, dashboards, and reports to showcase KPIs, trends, and performance metrics for management.
  4. Custom Data Solutions: Address business requests by creating tailored queries and reports that solve specific business challenges.
  5. KPI Monitoring: Analyze KPIs to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions that align with Barclays’ regulatory requirements and governance policies.
  7. Reporting and Metric Automation: Continually improve the reporting process and automate metric delivery for seamless service.
