We are currently seeking fresh graduates who possess a solid understanding of relational database concepts, along with basic programming skills and familiarity with web development, for the role of Software Technical Support Engineer.

Skills Required:

  • Strong grasp and application of relational database concepts.
  • Proficiency in basic programming languages and understanding of web development (e.g., Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL).
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Ability to work with large datasets in Excel, proficient in identifying and resolving data-related issues swiftly.
  • Specific knowledge and application of IT services and financial management, including budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support.
  • Operational understanding of IT infrastructure domains such as data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development & maintenance.
  • Proficiency in technical design through iterative mockups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis/manipulation.
  • Capability to comprehend complex spreadsheets/data quickly to streamline processes, with knowledge of formulaic logic (e.g., Excel).
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to grasp complex concepts with minimal assistance.
  • Agility to switch context between multiple complex work streams efficiently.
  • Innate ability to break down problems into basic components to pinpoint root causes effectively.
  • Customer-focused mindset, acting as a client advocate.
  • Excellent team player with solid communication and presentation skills.

As part of the Partner Technology Services team, you’ll collaborate closely with our partner ecosystem and internal teams to develop and bring joint solutions to market. This role entails understanding partner technical requirements, architecting solutions that benefit both partners and customers, and serving as the technical liaison between our company and partner organizations. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and training to partners for successful implementation and adoption of joint solutions.
  • Supporting and maintaining customers who have implemented the Apptio SaaS solution, resolving issues promptly.
  • Managing operational aspects for clients, including data loading, dashboard/report validation, etc.
  • Cultivating strong client relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Working collaboratively as part of our support team in a startup environment to exceed customer expectations.
  • Utilizing business and technical analysis skills to solve complex issues and promote best practices in IT environments.
  • Collaborating with various departments within the company to achieve customer satisfaction.
