Position: Software Test Automation Engineer
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: Freshers

Skills Required:

• Proficient programming skills in C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and testing principles.
• Sound understanding of software test phases.
• Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases like Oracle, SQLServer, and DB2.
• Experience with Agile development, including GitHub/Jira.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Experience with IBM Maximo.
• Familiarity with mapping tools like ArcGIS, OpenLayers.
• Knowledge of Apache Cordova and Cordova plugins.
• Understanding of ArcGIS JavaScript API and REST API.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
• Ability to debug code and implement fixes.
• Skill in performance, load, and stress testing.
• Knowledge of mobile application development (iOS, Android, Windows).
• Experience with React, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, shell scripting, and unit testing.

Job Description: As a Software Test Automation Engineer at IBM, you’ll collaborate with a global team to enhance our Asset Management portfolio. You’ll be involved in the entire software delivery cycle, from requirements gathering to delivery, working closely with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing sophisticated software systems with a focus on test automation and CI/CD.
• Participating in software design and code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
• Planning, creating, and executing automated test cases and load/performance testing.
• Maintaining proficiency in Computer Science/Software Engineering knowledge and contributing to team growth.
• Working independently and as part of an Agile scrum team.
