Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Visual Designer to join our team at IBM Security. As a Visual Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design modern and user-friendly products. The ideal candidate must have excellent design skills and a diverse portfolio representing work conducted for various different platforms & devices. You should have a passion for emerging technologies and hunger to innovate.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with user experience designers to create visually compelling designs
- Create multiple designs and work interactively with different teams on delivering projects for various platforms & devices
- Develop a solid foundation in typography, layout, and design
- Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touch-points
- Bring wireframes & detailed interaction design to life by designing visuals that will add the wow-effect to our products
- Take direction effectively and work both collaboratively and autonomously
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in design or related field
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Strong understanding of usability and user-centered design practices
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Diverse visual design portfolio representing work conducted for various different platforms & devices
- Experience creating clickable prototypes (Sketch, Flinto, Invision, Adobe XD)
- Experience with user research is preferred
- Technical aptitude to learn the Security domain
- Experience designing enterprise applications
- Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
