Position Overview:
As an Internal Audit Analyst – Software Engineer, you’ll work on transformative projects aimed at automating workflows, improving audit processes, and contributing to scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, design, and implement new systems that streamline our auditing processes. This role will give you unique exposure to the financial industry’s technology and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Propose, design, and develop software to support new business functions and enhance audit processes.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and collaborate with other engineering teams.
- Support and enhance applications used by global teams to meet new requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Participate in hands-on development while contributing to design and system improvements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of application development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and strong understanding of software architecture.
- Experience with front-end web development and transactional systems.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with REST-based web services, Microservices, React, Angular, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Hazelcast.
- Basic PL-SQL skills for running queries.
- Experience working in financial institutions and familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Understanding of Asynchronous-Event-based processing and Agile methodologies.
