Key Responsibilities
As a vital part of our innovative team of scientists and engineers, you will:
- Develop next-gen algorithms to comprehend visual and textual content, as well as member interactions on LinkedIn.
- Create state-of-the-art text, image, video, and graph classification models that can handle millions of content items and thousands of categories.
- Build advanced supervised and semi-supervised models that scale to hundreds of millions of members and their content.
- Oversee the entire model development and deployment process at LinkedIn’s scale.
- Mentor junior research engineers in leveraging advanced machine learning techniques to solve critical business problems.
- Represent LinkedIn in academic and industry forums, showcasing our groundbreaking data products and scientific expertise.
Required Skill Set
We are looking for individuals with the following skills and expertise:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning
- Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models
- Solid understanding of standard programming and software engineering practices
- Experience in scaling solutions for ML and AI applications
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks for ML and AI projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
