Job Description:
Morningstar, a Chicago-based investment research firm, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of MDP Associate. This position is based in Mumbai, India.
Qualifications:
- Graduation degree
- Freshers or 0-3 years of experience
Skills:
- Strong English communication, reading, writing, and content interpretation skills
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and Word
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA Macros, or Python is a plus
- Client-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Analytical and critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely and in-depth screening, research, and review of company data and disclosures
- Quickly learn the research methodology and processes and apply that knowledge consistently
- Deliver on individual and team targets, including production and quality, and improve overall performance quarter on quarter
- Establish and achieve SMART goals with the direction of the team lead
- Provide input and ideas for new data collection methods, product/process improvements, and quality initiatives
- Own and drive continuous improvement within the process through quality initiatives
