Associate Data Analyst – Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support strategic business decisions by formulating hypotheses, structuring problems, and analyzing data to verify hypotheses. Prepare comprehensive documentation to communicate insights and results.
• Monitor key performance metrics such as revenue, gross margin, item pricing, conversion rates, and customer counts.
• Collaborate with various internal teams (e.g., planning, category management) to ensure alignment and achieve organizational goals.
• Analyze platform and category-level metrics to identify issues and leverage strengths for problem-solving and optimization.
• Develop and implement robust reporting formats that provide a comprehensive view of the portfolio’s health.
• Apply statistical methods to analyze data, generating valuable business reports and insights.
• Partner with management to prioritize business needs for each segment and create a roadmap for analysis.
• Work closely with departmental managers to define specific data requirements for various analytical projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 18 months of experience in data analysis or a related analytics role.
• Proven experience handling large datasets and relational databases, with strong SQL proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and interact across all management levels.
• Results-driven with strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, Python or R, and SQL is essential.
