Skill Set:

• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and efficient processing of large datasets.
• Proficient in Python or equivalent programming languages.
• Desirable familiarity with general Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques.
• Awareness of DevOps principles and practices for deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments.
• Knowledge of computer vision techniques for image and video interpretation, including object identification and classification.
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and Other Generative AI (GenAI) models, encompassing prompt engineering, model evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Expertise in a specific industry or field, enhancing comprehension of data and business requirements.
• An understanding of ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias, and fairness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers.

Job Description:

The Myntra Data Science team takes pride in deploying solutions that not only leverage state-of-the-art machine learning models, such as graph neural networks, diffusion models, transformers, representation learning, optimization methods, and Bayesian modeling, but also contribute to research literature with multiple peer-reviewed research papers.

As a Software Engineer – Data Scientist at Myntra, your responsibilities include:

• Developing data science and machine learning models for Myntra Storefront, Supply Chain, and other areas.
• Proficiency in machine learning life cycles, model deployments, and more.
• Theoretical understanding and practical experience in one or more machine learning topics, such as NLP, Computer Vision, and Optimization.
• Collaborating with Product and Business teams to translate problems into Machine Learning models.
• Engaging with Platforms and Engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of predictive models.
• Working closely with Data Platforms teams to understand and gather data.
