Key Skills:

• Proficiency in automating tasks using Java, Python, Perl, bash, and Selenium.
• Strong grasp of Oracle database, Storage, and Linux fundamentals.
• Knowledgeable in network fundamentals such as VCN, Ethernet, RoCE, TCP/IP, routing, DHCP, etc.
• Expertise in automating management of Linux-based infrastructure.
• Experience in cloud services management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Familiarity with build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools.
• Proficient in containerization technologies and modern tools like Docker, Github, Jira, Swagger, Teamcity, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with Virtualization Infrastructures such as KVM and Xen.
• Working experience with Oracle Exadata Database Machine.
• Excellent coding, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions. Your primary focus will be validating functionality and automating the management of Exascale cloud services. The goal is to ensure the delivery of a highly reliable, scalable, and performant cloud service, supporting Oracle Cloud services and Cloud@Customers customers.

You will collaborate closely with the core engineering team responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and managing the service. Your efforts will significantly contribute to accelerating engineering velocity while maintaining high quality throughout the service development lifecycle across all development teams. Your role involves advocating for an engineering environment that embodies the best development and testing practices for delivering top-tier services.

The Exascale Test and Tools development group within the Server Technologies division is responsible for various cutting-edge technologies, including Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Services, Engineered Systems, Exascale, and forthcoming releases of Oracle Database server. This encompasses a wide array of technologies such as RDBMS, XML, Real Application Clusters (RAC), Security, Golden Gate, Advanced Queuing, Automated Storage Management, Backup/Recovery, Query Optimization, Transaction Management, Performance Tuning, and High Availability.

As a member of the software engineering division, you’ll actively contribute to defining and developing software for tasks associated with the development, debugging, or design of software applications or operating systems.
