Job Description:
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer Trainee, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic components of elevator systems. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the components and assemblies are qualified at the electrical laboratory and at the test hoist way. In this role, you will participate in the preparation of component/subsystem level Test Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), prepare the test plan, and carry out testing.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop electrical and electronic components of elevator systems. • Qualify electrical components/assemblies at the electrical laboratory and at the test hoist way. • Participate in preparing component/subsystem level Test Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), prepare the test plan, and carry out testing. • Ensure new/modified design meets Otis standard requirement and local code requirement. • Execute cost reduction projects and ensure timely release of projects. • Release standard procedures for component test fixtures. • Promote and maintain safe work practices and follow the Cardinal Rules all the time. • Focus on timely resolution of any escapes reported from the field. • Carry out RRCA and provide MP solution. • Drive innovation.
Skills and Qualifications:
• B Tech/ Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Creative and open mind, work hard and energetic, good teamwork and ethical. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Knowledge of electrical and electronic components of elevator systems.
