Productivity Solutions Team
Our Productivity Solutions team empowers employees across the firm by providing tools that enhance daily workflows, streamline productivity, and keep them connected within the Goldman Sachs ecosystem.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential:
- Develop and maintain applications that significantly improve employee productivity and operational efficiency.
- Implement new features in back-end services (primarily Java) that integrate with various internal systems.
- Execute DevOps processes, including managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Ensure that applications are secure, reliable, and scalable by following the best development practices.
- Provide ongoing support, address bugs, and optimize performance to meet firm standards.
- Collaborate closely with the QA team to conduct full regression testing on applications, ensuring stability before any releases.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Expertise in Java software development.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience with end-to-end design and implementation of software products.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong desire to work in a regional agile/scrum pod within a global organization.
- Analytical mindset, creativity, and commercial focus to deliver optimal solutions for the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with concurrent programming and reactive programming frameworks (such as Spring or Vert.x).
- Experience in full stack development using major web SPA frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles is advantageous but not mandatory.
