Job Title: Associate Software Development Engineer
Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree
Experience: Freshers / 0 – 2 years

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java and/or Go
• Familiarity with backend and/or frontend development concepts and technologies
• Basic understanding of databases
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Eagerness to learn and work with advanced technologies like Elastic Cache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, and DynamoDB
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

Job Description: As an Associate Software Development Engineer (aSDE), you will collaborate with our experienced engineers, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge systems. This role offers hands-on experience with technologies including AWS, Java, Go, DynamoDB, React, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and maintain scalable systems and services
• Contribute to the development, testing, and release of new product features for millions of Swiggy customers
• Write high-quality, maintainable code in Java and Go
• Utilize technologies like Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB, and others to build robust and efficient solutions
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimizing performance and addressing scalability challenges
