Job Description:
Wipro is seeking fresh graduates with exceptional communication skills and technical knowledge in troubleshooting base operating system issues for the position of System Engineer. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues related to Windows, Outlook, Teams, Citrix, VDI, VPN, Security App, and other applications through remote support.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and customer emails promptly and provide technical support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to base operating system
- Handle irate customers with empathy and exceptional communication skills
- Research and identify the root cause of customer complaints
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary
- Create SOPs for new issues and their resolution
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and products
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
- Recognize and document customer trends and alert management accordingly
- Route calls and tickets to appropriate resources and domains
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technical knowledge in troubleshooting base operating system issues
- Ability to empathize and pacify irate customers
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
