Using your technical expertise, you’ll manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions.

The Core team is responsible for building the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We drive innovation by creating essential design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. These building blocks ensure excellent, secure, and cohesive experiences for our users and drive innovation across every developer. As part of the Core team, you’ll have the opportunity to influence critical technical decisions company-wide.

Responsibilities:

• Write code for product or system development.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select the best technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content, adapting it based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Troubleshoot product or system issues, debugging, tracking, and resolving them by analyzing their sources and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
